The week in numbers
Ticket volume went up. Players bought 31,588 tickets across the week, 13.6% more than the 27,798 sold the week before (#188 to #194). Of those, 8,976 won a prize, which is 28.42% of all tickets against 25.33% the previous week.
Most tickets still lost. 22,612 won nothing, and winning tickets won $19,795.49 in net prizes (after the 10% win-share, including prizes not yet claimed) while ticket sales came to $31,588.00.
The largest wins
The biggest single payout was $213.73 net, on drawing #201, for four numbers plus the bonusball. That tier went to 4 tickets over 3 drawings. No ticket matched all five numbers plus the bonusball, so the jackpot carried over every day.
How the jackpot moved
The jackpot prize (tier 11, net) went from $217,756.97 on #195 to $219,374.46 on #201. Behind every tier sits the prize pool, which isn’t the jackpot itself; at the start of each drawing it ranged from $1,152,763.57 to $1,158,204.40. By #201, 28 drawings had passed since the last jackpot hit on #173. Past drawings don’t predict future ones.
